This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through thehowtocompany.com (the “Website”), operated by The How To LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Policy
All purchases are final except as expressly provided in this Refund Policy. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for any reason other than those specifically outlined below.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing either:

We do not accept refund requests through any other method.
2. Three-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Standard Purchases)
For standard memberships, subscriptions, and digital products (excluding Guaranteed to Pass offers), we offer a three (3) calendar day money-back guarantee.
To qualify:
- You must submit a written refund request within three (3) calendar days of your original purchase
Refund requests submitted after three (3) calendar days will not be honored. After this period, all sales are final and non-refundable.
3. Free Trials
If you sign up for a free trial, you agree that the free trial period satisfies and replaces any money-back guarantee.
Once a free trial has been used:
- You are not eligible for any refund after being charged
- It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial period ends to avoid charges
4. Guaranteed to Pass Refund Policy
Certain courses or products may be offered with a “Guaranteed to Pass or Your Money Back” option. This guarantee applies only to courses that explicitly state that they qualify for this guarantee at the time of purchase, including within the course description or at checkout.
To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, you must meet all of the following conditions:
- You must have purchased a course that explicitly includes the Guaranteed to Pass offer
- You must complete and pass our full course requirements
- You must take your official certification or qualifying exam within fourteen (14) calendar days of completing our course
- You must fail your exam
- You must submit a written refund request within fourteen (14) calendar days of your failed exam
All refund requests under this guarantee must be submitted in writing either through our Contact Us page at thehowtocompany.com or by email to support@thehowtocompany.com.
You will NOT qualify for a refund if:
- The course you purchased does not include the Guaranteed to Pass offer
- The guarantee was not clearly stated in the course description or at checkout
- You do not complete or pass our course
- You take your exam more than fourteen (14) calendar days after completing the course
- You pass your exam
- You fail to submit your refund request within fourteen (14) calendar days of your failed exam
- You fail to submit your request in writing through an approved method
- You fail to provide sufficient proof of your exam results
- You violate any of our Terms of Use
We reserve the right to verify all submitted documentation before issuing a refund.
5. Proof Requirements
To process any refund request under the Guaranteed to Pass policy, you must provide:
- Proof of course completion
- Proof of exam attempt date
- Official documentation showing exam results
Failure to provide adequate documentation may result in denial of your refund.
6. Refund Request Process
All refund requests must be submitted in writing through one of the approved methods listed above.
We reserve the right to:
- Approve or deny any refund request at our sole discretion
- Request additional information or documentation
- Investigate suspected abuse or fraud
7. Abuse and Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of suspected abuse, misuse, or fraudulent activity. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Repeated refund requests
- Sharing or distributing course content
- Attempting to circumvent course requirements
Accounts found engaging in such behavior may be suspended or permanently banned without refund.
8. Chargebacks
By making a purchase, you agree to contact us first to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback.
Improper or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
- Immediate account termination
- Loss of access to all services
- Additional action as permitted by law
9. Non-Transferability
Refund eligibility is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
